This Privacy Policy explains how FLDK Ltd. t/a Seaweed For Dogs ("Seaweed For Dogs", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, protects and retains personal information when you visit or buy from seaweedfordogs.com (the "Site"). It also explains, in a separate section, how our internal Google API application handles Google user data.

Statements in sections 3 to 13 about advertising, marketing, analytics or sharing with third parties apply only to store data and do not apply to Google user data. Where anything in this policy appears to conflict with section 14, section 14 governs how Google user data is handled.

- with your consent (for example, marketing emails and non-essential cookies), which you may withdraw at any time; and
- to comply with legal obligations (for example, tax and accounting records).

7. SHARING YOUR INFORMATION

11. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct, update, delete or restrict it, to object to its processing, to withdraw consent, or to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at sales@seaweedfordogs.com. We will respond within the time required by law (one month under GDPR). If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Ireland this is the Data Protection Commission (https://www.dataprotection.ie).

12. SECURITY

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections on the Site and access controls limiting who can see personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to review our measures regularly.

13. CHILDREN AND DO NOT TRACK

The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We do not change the Site's data collection practices when we receive a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser.

14. USE OF GOOGLE USER DATA (SEAWEED FOR DOGS GOOGLE API APP)

This section applies only to data obtained through Google APIs by the "Seaweed For Dogs" application: an internal tool operated by Seaweed For Dogs to manage our own marketing accounts. The app is used only by Seaweed For Dogs staff, on accounts we own. It does not apply to store data.

14.1 Data we access
With our authorisation through Google OAuth, the app accesses:
- Google Ads (scope: adwords): campaign settings, keywords, search terms, ads and performance data for our own Google Ads account, and the ability to make changes to our own campaigns (for example negative keywords, bids and campaign settings);
- Google Analytics (scope: analytics.readonly): read-only website traffic and conversion data for seaweedfordogs.com;
- Google Search Console (scope: webmasters.readonly): read-only search performance data for seaweedfordogs.com;
- Google Sheets and Google Drive (scopes: spreadsheets, drive.file): a spreadsheet the app creates in our own Google Drive for reviewing suggestions. The app can only access files it creates.

14.2 How we use it
We use this data only to provide the app's functions for our own business: reporting on and improving the performance of our own advertising, managing our own campaigns, and measuring the impact of changes we make.

14.3 How we share it
We do not sell, rent or trade Google user data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks. The data is processed by an AI assistant service (Anthropic's Claude) acting on our instructions solely to analyse our own account data. It is not shared with any other third party, except where required by law.

14.4 How we protect it
Google user data is transferred over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections and stored only on access-controlled, password-protected systems we control. Access credentials are stored securely and are never published or shared. Only authorised Seaweed For Dogs staff can access the data.

14.5 Retention and deletion
We keep Google user data only as long as needed for reporting and performance tracking, and for no more than 24 months, after which it is deleted. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us at sales@seaweedfordogs.com; we will delete the data within 30 days. Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

14.6 Restrictions on use
Google user data is never used to serve or target advertisements to individuals, never sold to data brokers or information resellers, never used to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes, and never used to develop, improve or train generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

14.7 Compliance
Seaweed For Dogs' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

15. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
