What is Nannochloropsis sp.? 

Nannochloropsis sp. is a marine microalgae, which means it usually grows naturally in marine environments but it can also occur in fresh and brackish water. Borvo Nutrients' Nannochloropsis sp. is grown in closed tubular photobioreactors, which means it is a completely sustainable product and does not impact the natural environment where Nannochloropsis grows. Although this might not be one of the most well known microalgae, it is very unique in terms of its nutrient profile and in particular the presence of Omega-3's (including EPA).
